Mitigating Self-Generated Communications Interference
Inadequate isolation between a transmitter and a receiver in a cosite environment results in the receiver’s diminished ability to process a weak desired signal- a condition termed “desensitization”.

Cosite Analysis
Pole/Zero has amassed a considerable database of modern transceiver vulnerabilities to cosite communications effects. Armed with this database and communications platform characteristics such as antenna isolation and operational requirements, we have the expertise to simulate the cosite interference effects and apply cost effective mitigation techniques.
Engineering Design, Development and System Integration
Cosite mitigation equipment design has, at its core, the minimization of noise effects while maximizing the ability of circuits to accommodate large signals in a linear fashion without distortion. Achieving these disparate capabilities within a single piece of equipment requires a very skilled and experienced engineering team with state-of-the-art tools at their command. In addition to extensive design and development tools, we have on-site capability to conduct qualification testing for thermal, humidity, vibration, and shock environments. The Pole/Zero engineering team is available to assist your team in the development of cosite mitigation system solutions or any application where high dynamic range circuit techniques are required.
Production
Pole/Zero's state of the art Manufacturing Systems are designed to support the production of military qualified equipment built under the rigors of an ISO 9001:2000 system. Our approved Quality Systems ensure each product is inspected to make sure it meets or exceeds all functional and environmental requirements. Our approved Configuration System ensures we can track the latest product design configuration while maintaining support for our legacy designs.
Repair
In the rare occurrence when repairs are required for Pole/Zero products, teardown and evaluation activities are readily integrated into our daily production routine. Commonality of parts in ongoing manufacturing activities ensures availability of components to facilitate repairs. Thorough analysis of root cause and identification of appropriate corrective action result from our highly integrated Engineering and Production Departments. We provide Depot Level Maintenance activity for all ICE systems, which are utilized on several command and control platforms in fleets around the world.
